What is your role at Array? What do you like about your job?

I lead our Client Services, Expediting, and Service of Process teams and serve as our subject-matter expert. In a broad sense, I ensure that our team processes orders of all kind in accordance with applicable laws. I also work closely with our clients to address their questions and concerns regarding the subpoena process, which can become somewhat complex depending on the types of records that are sought and from which witnesses.

I am the happiest when I’m helping someone else. I love helping our clients by taking the work off their plate, knowing that they can trust me to get them what they need, when they need it. As a former paralegal myself, I remember how grateful I was when I found a service partner who would work as hard as I did to help my attorneys. I try to always be that beacon of light.

How do you apply your experience before Array to your work today?

I was a legal secretary and civil litigation paralegal specializing in complex and document-intensive matters.  A core aspect of my work before Array involved organizing huge volumes of documents and analyzing their importance to key facts in the dispute. This gives me a unique understanding of both what our clients are facing and what they need.

What are you most likely up to when you are off-the-clock?

Hanging out with my husband, Tedd, and my dog, Stella. Every morning before work we have coffee together while watching cartoons. On the average evening or weekend, you’ll catch us listening to music while I crochet something pretty for a friend or family member. You might even catch me singing loudly and slightly off-key with reckless abandon.

What is something that would surprise people about you?

I live in the Smoky Mountains of East Tennessee, in a very small town named Cosby. I lived and worked in the law firms of Orange County for many years, but when my husband had to medically retire due to Multiple Sclerosis we moved back to Tennessee where we each had more family. I live my life on “California time” so most of our clients don’t know I’m not local until I tell them, and it’s always amusing to hear their incredulity.
