What is your role at Array? What is a typical day like for you?

My role at Array falls across several departments, Project Management, IT, and Client Solutions. As a senior project manager, I have a set of core clients that I have been working with for many years. As an IT professional, I assist with managing RelativityOne and support our Data Center and Azure services. As Solutions, I specialize in data migrations and complicated workflows for litigation needs. At the beginning of my day, I make a list of priorities and by noon it has changed.

Why do you do this type of work? What do you like about your job?

This is a job that allows me to learn something new almost every day. Technology changes constantly and there is always a new challenge along with it. I also enjoy seeing the “ah ha” moment when we put a client into RelativityOne that has been managing review using homegrown methods. Relativity isn’t just for large data sets, it can be a game changer for small practitioners that have less than a few thousand documents.

What is an example of your most creative or impactful work?

Before EDRM released its specifications for MIH, I designed a workflow for dealing with duplication across emails using the Message ID. The workflow consists of a Relativity Application that installs a set of fields and scripts that allow us to analyze documents with the same Message ID. Based on this analysis we create a new hash code using the Message ID and select metadata fields, which is then used to identify additional duplicates. We have been able to reduce some email collections by an additional 30% or more, saving hosting and review costs.

What do you think is the "Array Advantage"? Why do clients trust Array?

Customer Service is the priority at Array. Our goal is to ensure our clients have access to the best project managers, analysts, and software.

Describe Array in five words or less.

Working together to achieve success!

What are you most likely up to when you are off-the-clock?

When I am not working, you will find me boating on Lake Michigan, preferably anchored off one of Michigan’s beautiful beaches in the summer or downhill skiing in Northern Michigan in the winter. I am also on the board of the West Michigan Ski Club and recently helped the club through a rebrand and website update.

What is something that would surprise people about you?

I have been in this industry for over 30 years and I have done almost all jobs you can do in litigation support.

What is the most recent thing you learned about or taught yourself to do?

I’m currently studying for the CISSP exam. It's slow with no end date but I like to learn.

Our team at Array is supported by industry-leading experts like Tracey who consistently apply creativity, dedication and experience in everything they do to solve our clients’ problems and exceed their expectations.
