I enjoy not always being stuck in the office by having the chance to go out and meet my clients in person.

What is your role at Array? What is a typical day like for you?

As the Managing Director of the Texas Market, my work is mainly sales and client maintenance. I spend a lot of time visiting, calling, emailing, and meeting for client lunches. I also help with operations for customers and onboarding new accounts.

Why do you do this type of work? What do you like about your job?

I enjoy not always being stuck in the office by having the chance to go out and meet my clients in person. I am a big people person so I love sales and helping customers.

What is an example of your most creative or impactful work?

I think for me, this would be relationship building and customer support of sales. On the relationship side of things, it’s treating your customers like family. For example, I take customers to ball games or lunch for their birthday. I spend time getting to know them somewhat on a personal basis and can talk with them about everyday life such as kids, schools, vacations, etc..

On the customer service side- I am an advocate for customers within our company. I make sure that I am doing absolutely everything possible to provide the best service and product. This could be as simple as returning their phone call/email immediately to working through the night, and long hours to help with production get a rush job completed or delivering a depo or record to their house on the weekends. Whatever it takes.

What did you do before Array? How do you apply that experience to your work today?

I’ve been in the litigation support business for 33 years, but most recently before my position with Array, I was a partner with Compass Reporting Group.

What are you most likely up to when you are off-the-clock?

When I am not working I am likely traveling with and/or watching my daughter play tennis tournaments. I am also a big Houston Astros fan so I spend a lot of time watching their games.

What is something that would surprise people about you?

I am a huge movie buff, especially action, comedy and sci fi and anything Martin Scorsese.

What is the most recent thing you learned about or taught yourself to do?

Hmmm that is a tough one. I guess it would be learning the game of tennis inside and out because of my daughter. To the point where people and or coaches have asked If I coach the sport. Which is no lol.
