Acquisition strengthens Array’s end-to-end testimony and transcription services, furthering its vision for a fully integrated litigation support ecosystem
TORONTO – June 22, 2026 – Array, a technology-driven litigation support and legal technology company, today announced its acquisition of HTB Transcripts Ontario (HTB). This acquisition expands Array’s capabilities in the Canadian market and strengthens its ability to support clients across the full litigation lifecycle, from examinations and discoveries to hearings, appeals, trials and the review of recorded evidence.
HTB is a trusted Ontario-based legal transcription services provider specializing in official Ontario Court of Appeal transcripts, as well as audio/visual transcription for legal proceedings. The acquisition adds high-quality transcription services for courts, discoveries and other legal proceedings to Array’s service offerings.
“We are excited to welcome HTB to Array as we continue investing in the growth of our Canadian business and deepening the breadth of services we provide to the legal community,” said Lindsay Duprey, President of Array Canada. “HTB has earned an exceptional reputation for quality, accuracy and client service; values that closely align with ours. This acquisition strengthens our ability to support clients at every stage of litigation.”
As part of the acquisition, Helena Tsapoitis-Barbesin, former owner of HTB, will join Array as Director of Transcription Services. She brings deep expertise in transcription quality, court standards and operational delivery, strengthening Array’s ability to scale its transcription services while maintaining the accuracy and trust required of the legal record. Tsapoitis-Barbesin will work with Kim Neeson, Vice President of Court Reporting at Array Canada, and the Array team to support the integration.
“An accurate record is essential across every stage of litigation, from court and arbitration to discovery and the review of recorded evidence,” Neeson said. “HTB knows that transcription is not simply typing on a keyboard and hitting upload. This acquisition strengthens our ability to deliver an accurate record with the care and judgment that legal transcription requires. HTB’s reputation is built on that standard.”
“Array and HTB share a common belief that quality, trust, and innovation should be at the centre of every client engagement,” said Tsapoitis-Barbesin. “As part of Array, we are building on HTB’s strong foundation, strengthening our transcription services and giving clients access to a broader suite of litigation support solutions. This was a natural next step for the company and positions us to better serve the evolving needs of the legal profession in Canada. I’m proud of what we’ve built and excited to continue that journey with Array.”
With the acquisition of HTB, Array now offers clients a more complete, end-to-end court reporting and testimony solution. HTB will be integrated into the Array brand, followed by a well-paced transition designed to preserve the quality, responsiveness, and client service the company is known for.
