Based in Toronto, Kim Neeson is leading Array’s expansion into the Canadian market as Director of Court Reporting. With over 40 years of experience in the industry, she brings unmatched expertise, entrepreneurial spirit, and a deep commitment to justice. Her focus is on building a best-in-class court reporting division that integrates traditional excellence with modern innovation.
Court reporting has been more than just a career—it’s been her calling. After founding Neesons in 1996 and later selling it to Veritext Legal, Kim witnessed firsthand how accurate, timely transcripts uphold access to justice. “I’ve always been fascinated by the role of a silent witness—preserving every voice in the legal process,” she says. That passion also led her to become Ontario’s first realtime court reporter, a game-changing advancement that later expanded to realtime captioning for the deaf and hard of hearing.
Now, she’s channeling her expertise into building Array’s Canadian presence with the recent launch of our Canadian Court Reporting division. She is energized by the opportunity to transform court reporting through technology. “What excites me most is removing traditional barriers and ensuring equal access to high-quality legal services,” she shares. With a focus on client experience and innovation, she’s eager to help shape the future of the industry. “Kim Neeson is a visionary in court reporting,” said President of Array Canada, Lindsay Duprey. “Under her guidance, we’re reimagining what’s possible in this field.”
When she’s not connecting with clients or designing forward-thinking solutions, you’ll find her walking her Portuguese Water Dog, Jax, playing pickleball, or studying to earn her chef’s certificate at a prestigious culinary college. And here’s a fun fact: she used to teach and play the organ!
From courtroom technology to accessible legal services, her work has always been about impact. Providing realtime captioning for Prime Minister Jean Chrétien’s task force on disability issues remains one of her most meaningful contributions—proof that technology and inclusion go hand in hand.
With decades of leadership and a vision for the future, Kim brings unmatched value to the Array team and is helping shape what’s next in court reporting.
