Associate Director of Solutions | Los Angeles, CA
With my background in Computer Science and Law, I feel like I found the perfect career where I get to use all my skills.
My position is two-fold. On one side, I work with our internal team members and their clients to develop workflows to best suit their project’s needs. On the other side, I manage several portfolio accounts, providing daily support on their matters. A good portion of my day is spent working with portfolio clients, but I also help our Project Managers with Relativity Tools such as Active Learning and Email Threading. As a Certified Relativity Trainer, I also conduct trainings for internal team members as well as clients to help them learn more about the platform.
With my background in Computer Science and Law, I feel like I found the perfect career where I get to use all my skills. I’ve always been interested in technology and my role here at Array challenges me to find unique solutions. I enjoy working with my colleagues in this collaborative environment, where everyone is there for each other. However, my favorite part of this role is that I get to find ways to help make our clients’ lives easier – whether it’s finding ways to cut costs or meet a crazy deadline and exceed expectations.
This isn’t client-related, but I created a database in Relativity to help guess words on Wordle. I was stumped one day and I was down to my last guess. I couldn’t find anything online that was helpful, so I began thinking of ways I could do this in Relativity. In the end, I created a database that includes all ~2300 possible words and a custom index that lets you search for each individual letter. There are also fields that correspond to the placement of each letter that you can filter. It was a fun puzzle to work out, though it’s definitely more satisfying when you solve without external aids.
I think our biggest advantage is our talented employees. We are people who truly care about the client experience and have the ability to provide and implement custom solutions. Our clients know they can trust us because we consistently deliver on our promises. In the rare event a deadline might be compromised, we are transparent and work together to find the best next step.
Collaborative, Client-Oriented, Supportive, Adaptive, Experienced
Before Array, I worked at other E-Discovery vendors. I started this industry in Document Review and found my path to the vendor side. I then moved to Litigation Support and moved up through Project Management and now I’m in Solutions. Though I may have skipped a few positions, working through the EDRM from the ground up has provided invaluable experience. I recognize the pain points from each step and keep these at the back of my mind when putting together workflows.
Unfortunately for my wallet, I am a hobbyist. Over the years I have collected many, including bullet journaling, knitting, crocheting, painting, and video games. My current passions are sewing, Lost Ark, and Pokemon Go. Yes, there are people who still play Pokemon Go! I also have an 11-yr old son who is growing up too fast, a husband who thinks he’s funnier than he is, and an 8-month-old corgi named Waffles. We have been spending a lot of time at Hogsmeade now that we have an annual pass.
I once won a competition to recite the digits of Pi. I had memorized 108 digits and won by a landslide. (I certainly can’t remember more than 10 now!)
Through the wonders of YouTube, I have taught myself how to make handbags and mini sling backpacks. I recently bought a semi-industrial sewing machine and an embroidery machine to be able to create even more types of projects!
