Our team expanded the initial ~50 GB dataset to a more comprehensive and defensible ~650 GB dataset in response to evolving case requirements, ensuring the project remained efficient, defensible, and aligned with the client’s strategic goals.

The Solution:

Array’s Canadian eDiscovery team led data collection and applied AI-powered review to streamline a complex collections matter: 

  • Collected and processed ~650 GB of data from 23 email accounts and SharePoint drives.
  • Used email threading, de-NISTing, and deduplication to reduce 5.7 million documents to 500,000.
  • Applied AI-based Active Learning to identify 73,726 documents that did not require review.
  • Provided services including early case assessment, processing, hosting, intelligent review, and production.

  • Reviewed only 1,506 documents to validate 73,726, saving 1,200 hours.
  • Reduced dataset from 5.7 million to 500,000 documents.
