Based in Vancouver, Roland leads Array’s Canadian Client Solutions team with a passion for problem-solving, workflow optimization, and exceptional client service. Roland plays a key role in streamlining operations and crafting solutions for complex eDiscovery challenges.
A Day in the Life
Leading a team of case managers in Canada, Roland’s day is a mix of strategy, problem-solving, and collaboration. “I love simplifying workflows and designing solutions that make life easier for everyone,” Roland explains. “Yes, part of the job involves putting out fires, but the real win is preventing them from starting in the first place.”
Innovation in Action
One of Roland’s most impactful projects was leading the rapid implementation of a new workflow management system for Array’s Canadian operations. When a previous system was phased out, Roland stepped up, working with the team to develop a new framework and streamline critical processes.
“In just a few weeks, we created a solution that improved accuracy and significantly reduced manual effort,” Roland shares. “The efficiencies we introduced have freed up time for the team to focus on more strategic, high-value work.”
Chad Hoffman, Chief Operating Officer at Array, emphasizes the value Roland brings to the team:
“Roland’s ability to see challenges as opportunities and craft innovative solutions is indispensable. His leadership ensures our clients receive the best service, and we’re fortunate to have him driving success for our Canadian team and beyond.”
Elevating Client Service at Array
For Roland, the acquisition of Ricoh eDiscovery Services by Array represents a renewed focus on eDiscovery.
“Array is laser-focused on being the best in a specialized market. We operate with an entrepreneurial spirit and agility, allowing us to adapt quickly and meet client needs,” Roland explains. “Working alongside colleagues who truly understand our business makes all the difference.”
Looking Forward to New Opportunities
As Array expands its reach, Roland is excited to take on a broader role that extends beyond Canada. With the upcoming launch event in Canada, he’s eager to reconnect with clients in person.
“It’s been over four years since I’ve had the opportunity to meet some of our long-standing clients face-to-face,” Roland shares. “I’m looking forward to having meaningful conversations and deepening those relationships.”
Off the Clock
When he’s not leading client solutions at Array, Roland enjoys hiking Vancouver’s mountains or walking his dog. His personal mantra is simple: nobody’s perfect.
“I think people might be surprised to know that I make mistakes too,” he admits with a laugh. “We’re all human, after all.”
