As Director of Growth and a skilled lawyer, Jessica Lockett is a strategic force behind Array’s client partnerships and service evolution in Canada. Based in Toronto, Jessica collaborates with clients to develop innovative, data-driven solutions—especially with a focus on Array’s Intelligent Review services, a technology-forward solution that she helped to design and build for Array’s Canadian clients.
Jessica’s role involves not only strategic internal discussions and high-level consulting with clients but also working alongside her team to craft custom solutions tailored to clients’ unique needs. Her approach blends technical expertise with a keen understanding of what clients value most: responsiveness, creativity, and a partnership built on trust. Reflecting on her day-to-day, she says, “Our team thrives on collaboration, and it’s incredibly rewarding to work with people who are as committed as I am to providing our clients with streamlined, impactful solutions.”
“Jessica brings a level of expertise, commitment, and creativity that truly sets Array’s operations apart,” says Thad Warren, Chief Revenue Officer at Array. “Her depth of knowledge, dedication to problem-solving, and drive for client success are invaluable to our team and our growth in Canada.”
A Focused Approach to eDiscovery Excellence
For Jessica, the acquisition of Ricoh eDiscovery Services by Array marked a return to the team’s core purpose—being client-centric, agile, and industry-focused. Jessica notes, “Array has allowed us to reconnect with our roots as a specialized, service-driven organization. It’s exciting to have that renewed focus.”
With Array’s resources and technology, Jessica believes clients now experience the “Array Advantage,” which she defines as a balance between technical capabilities and personalized support. “Array is big enough to offer best-in-class technology options but still personal enough to build genuine connections,” she explains. This focus on human connection has strengthened trust with clients, who appreciate that their needs are met with both skill and genuine care.
Insights from Array’s Canada Launch Event: Navigating AI in eDiscovery
At Array’s official Canada launch event, Jessica joined an engaging fireside chat led by special master and mediator Maura Grossman. Industry leaders and partners gathered to explore the future of eDiscovery and innovative strategies for client success. The session on ‘Best Practices for Advanced AI in Legal Discovery’ resonated with Jessica, leaving her inspired by Maura’s thoughtful approach to AI’s evolving role in legal and eDiscovery spaces.
“GenAI tools hold incredible potential, but it’s important to approach them with a healthy level of caution,” Jessica explains. “Experimentation is valuable, but in small, thoughtful steps that ensure reliability. Sometimes, traditional tools like Technology-Assisted Review (TAR) still deliver the most consistent results, depending on the scope and complexity of the dataset.”
Jessica emphasizes the importance of balancing new and established tools, saying, “Each situation is unique, so sometimes the answer is a combination of methods. It’s about finding the right fit for the client’s needs and maintaining the flexibility to adapt.”
Beyond the Office: Exploring the World
Outside of her impactful work at Array, Jessica is often traveling or spending time with friends, family, and her six-year-old daughter. With visits to over 22 countries, including Cambodia, Russia, and Vietnam, she brings a wealth of global experiences and perspectives into her work and interactions.
Array is thrilled to have Jessica leading their Canadian growth initiatives, leveraging her expertise to create meaningful client impact every day.
