MEET JEFF
Review Manager | Review Services | Indianapolis, Indiana
I enjoy maximizing available technology…
What is your role at Array? What is a typical day like for you?
I oversee and guide our contract attorneys on document review projects and act as a point of contact between Array and our document review clients. A typical day for me involves communicating with attorneys on my review(s), analyzing project progress, performing quality control of attorney work, and updating and disseminating updated protocol guidance based on client feedback and/or issues observed in QC.
Why do you do this type of work? What do you like about your job?
I enjoy maximizing available technology in a way that simplifies document review and provides value to the client.
What is an example of your most creative or impactful work? (Tell us about a time you went above and beyond or met a unique challenge)
When email guidance has failed to create a measurable improvement in work product, I’ve created video tutorials on my home computer to assist our contract attorneys with document review concepts and to educate them on review platform functionality.
What do you think is the “Array advantage”? Why do clients trust Array?
Array combines broad offerings, a skilled and experienced workforce, and a right-sized approach to provide clients with great service. Our relationships with our clients form the foundation of our business. Clients trust us because they know we care and we want to do it right.
Describe Array in five words or less.
Client-centered, comprehensive litigation support
What did you do before Array? How do you apply that experience to your work today?
Prior to joining Array, I worked as a document review attorney and as a staff attorney and general counsel for a State agency. Prior to attending law school, I worked overseas as an English teacher. My experiences in every job have taught me that I thrive in environments that are collaborative and that allow me to educate while helping people develop solutions to problems.
What are you most likely up to when you are off-the-clock?
In my free time, I enjoy watching movies, listening to music, and playing sports and video games with my son. I’m an avid disc golfer and have served in leadership roles with the Indianapolis Disc Golf Club for over 10 years.
What is something that would surprise people about you?
I have a twin brother who also manages document review.
What is the most recent thing you learned about or taught yourself to do? (does not have to be work related)
I recently taught myself how to take apart a gaming controller to fix it myself.
